On the second to last day of school, they had "field day." Essentially, it's like a mini-olympics. Katie had a few events. However, on the hurdles relay, she tripped over one of the hurdles.She caught her foot on the hurdle and didn't have time to get her hands out to brace the fall. Unfortunately, face met track and the result is the image to the left.
Amazingly, no one took her to see the nurse.
We'll see how long this takes to go away.
UPDATE: The scabbing actually went away well faster than I expected. It was gone within the week.
